Molly Mae chapter 1
Not too long ago there was a little girl named Molly Mae. Molly Mae liked to play hide and seek with her neighbor and his friends.
Molly didn't think she had any friends, so she was very sad. Then, one day as she was walking down the street and tripped and dropped all the shopping bags she was carrying! One landed on a boy she knew from school his name was Jake, and he wasn't very nice. The boy began to pick on Molly. This made Molly very sad. Then someone else started talking to the boy! This person was telling the boy that he shouldn't pick on Molly Mae. This boy was Steve. Molly was very excited and asked Steve if he wanted to be her friend. Steve said that he would like that very much. Molly finally made a friend; she was so happy. Molly went into the candy store to get some gum drops when some one bumped into her. The man took Molly's money as her purse fell out of her hand!
“Hey!” she yelled, but the man had already ran off.
Will Molly get her money back?
Will the boy she met stay her friend?
Find out next week.

A Note from the Publisher
Every organization exists because it has a purpose. DCS is no different. We exist to partner with parents to give their children a Christian education. This purpose implies that we are on the same page when it comes to providing students with education. It is for this reason that we have started the DCS Eagle. This newspaper endeavors to keep students and parents up-to-date on the major happenings at our school. We encourage your feedback and hope to bring you the news you need to know in order to help us partner with you. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness...-Mr. Jim Brown
