The senior DCS Eagles basketball players will be honored at the games scheduled for Thursday, Janaury 26th against Cambria County Christian. The Lady Eagles game will begin at 5:30pm. The ceremony to honor the seniors will occur between games at approximately 6:50pm. They guys' team will take on Cambria County at approximately 7:10pm.
The annual DCS alumni basketball games are set for Friday, December 30th in the Roy H. Hunter Activity Center. Lady Eagles of years gone by will take on the current Lady Eagles team at 6:00pm. Former members of the guys team will challenge the current DCS Eagles at 7:30pm. The concession stand will be open.
The DCS Lady Eagles soccer team claimed 5th place in the ACAA Tournament with a 6-0 win over Centre County Christian. The Lady Eagles finished the regular season as the #2 team in the Western Division of the ACAA. The overall season record for the team was 9 wins and 5 losses.
The Junior Eagles Soccer Tournament was postponed due to adverse weather conditions Saturday, October 15th. The tournament is now scheduled to be played Friday, October 21. Game 1 will feature Green vs. Yellow at 12:30pm. Game 2 will feature Red vs. Black at 1:30pm. The championship game will be played at 3:00pm.
The DCS Lady Eagles soccer game with Centre County scheduled for Thursday, October 6 will be played at the Spider Lake Soccer Complex at Sandy Township Park. The game will begin at 3:30PM.
The DCS soccer games vs. Cambria County on Tuesday, October 4 have been moved to the Spider Lake Soccer Complex at Sandy Township Park. The girls' game will start at 3:30pm, and the boys' game will follow.
Members of the DCS girls and boys soccer teams are reminded that Wednesday, September 28 is "picture day." Team members should bring their clean, home uniforms (including socks and footwear) to change into at the end of the school day. Pictures will be taken shortly after 3:00pm.
The DCS girls soccer game scheduled with Centre County at 3:30pm today (September 15th) has been postponed due to an excessively wet field. A tentative makeup date has been set for Thursday, October 6th at 3:30pm.
The girls and boys soccer games scheduled at Grace Prep for Tuesday, September 6 have been postponed due to wet field conditions. The tentative makeup date for these games is Monday, October 17.
